SECURE-CS TPM-1 Held at SETA Istanbul
SECURE-CS Project – TPM-1 Successfully Held
The first Transnational Project Meeting (TPM-1) of “Civil Society Initiatives Strengthened with Information and Data Security (SECURE-CS)”, supported by the Erasmus+ KA220 programme, was successfully held at the SETA office in Istanbul on 24 March 2025.

The meeting was moderated and guided by Prof. Dr. Murat Yeşiltaş, Director of Foreign Policy at SETA. Providing strategic input to the discussions throughout the day, Prof. Yeşiltaş encouraged the partners’ active participation and created a productive environment for cooperation. As the first gathering of the project partners, TPM-1 was an important milestone and contributed to a shared understanding of the project’s vision, objectives and methods.
During the meeting, the overall project objectives were reviewed, the implementation timetable was agreed and the partners’ responsibilities were clarified. A coordination and communication strategy was also established to ensure effective communication. Preparations for the upcoming first Learning, Teaching and Training (LTT) activity, scheduled for 25–29 March 2025 at SETA Istanbul, were discussed in detail. Dissemination activities and quality assurance mechanisms were also planned to strengthen the project’s long-term impact.
Looking ahead, the second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM-2) will take place in Trondheim, Norway, in September 2025.
TPM-1 ensured a strong, collaborative start to this project, which aims to empower civil society in the digital age.
