The Erasmus+ KA220-YOU project , of which we are a partner, will hold its second Learning, Teaching and Training (LTT) activity, themed “New Generation Security Threats in the New Information Age”, from 18–22 August 2025 in Belgium, hosted by LEAD BELGIUM ASBL .

📅 Date: 18–22 August 2025
⏰ Time: 09:00 – 17:00
📍 Venue: LEAD BELGIUM ASBL

This intensive five-day programme will provide a comprehensive, practical learning experience designed to strengthen participants’ skills in information analysis, data protection and strategic communication.

The programme will cover information cycle management, open-source data research, digital media analysis, misinformation and disinformation studies, and scenario-based crisis simulations. Participants will learn the conceptual framework and develop practical skills.

The training methodology combines theoretical presentations, real-life case studies, digital media literacy exercises, group projects and role-play simulations. The curriculum will progress each day from the basics of information verification and processing to open-source research, content verification methods and preventing information manipulation. The programme will conclude with a comprehensive crisis simulation.

By the end of the activity, participants will:

  • Develop a sound understanding of information management processes and protective measures,

  • Acquire skills in collecting open-source data and evaluating social media content,

  • Learn methods for identifying, analysing and countering false or manipulative information,

  • Practise decision-making and communication under pressure through team-based simulations.

This LTT activity aims to develop technical competence, analytical thinking and collaborative problem-solving skills to address contemporary information security threats. As an official partner, our association is proud to contribute to this process and help build more informed, secure and resilient communities.
