The "Do No Harm" principle is essential in the activities within ANKA. This policy legally guarantees the protection of children, youth, and disadvantaged adults in crisis zones from all forms of abuse, neglect, and exploitation internationally.
Preventıve Measures and Fıeld Rules
- Zero Tolerance Principle (PSEAH): The rules for the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment are strictly implemented in all our activities.
- Rule of Two: In studies conducted with participants under the age of 18, no staff member can be left alone behind closed doors.
- Background Checks: All personnel to be assigned to humanitarian aid operations must pass a legal criminal record check.
- Risk Mapping: A 4-stage Risk Assessment Matrix (RAM) is created prior to each project.
