The third Learning, Teaching and Training activity of the SECURE-CS project, LTT-3, was successfully held in Skopje, North Macedonia between 19–23 January 2026. The activity brought together youth workers, civil society professionals, trainers, and organizational representatives from partner countries to strengthen their practical skills in digital security, ethical data management, and safe digital cooperation.
Hosted by the Macedonian Human Resources Association, LTT-3 was implemented with the participation of SETA, SETA Brussels, TÜGVA, BRAVO, TTB, and ANKA Association. As one of the key learning activities of the SECURE-CS project, the training focused on transforming digital security awareness into practical organizational capacity.

Throughout the five-day programme, participants took part in interactive workshops, group exercises, practical sessions, and hands-on digital production activities. The training was designed to support civil society organizations in using digital tools more effectively while protecting institutional data, improving online cooperation, and strengthening their digital resilience.
The programme covered a wide range of topics including Google Workspace and cloud ecosystems for NGOs, Google Forms for data collection, digital hygiene, cybersecurity basics, digital reputation and crisis management, digital transformation frameworks, digital listening and monitoring, audience segmentation, persuasion, impact-oriented digital communication, social media algorithms, content strategy development, and digital asset creation.
“LTT-3 turned digital security into practical organizational capacity by combining data protection, digital cooperation, artificial intelligence, communication, and visualization skills for civil society.”
A strong focus of LTT-3 was the connection between digital transformation and responsible data use. Participants explored how civil society organizations can manage shared folders, structure online collaboration, protect accounts, use strong passwords, apply multi-factor authentication, update software, and adopt safer online behavior in their daily institutional work.
The activity also introduced participants to artificial intelligence and generative technologies. Sessions included AI fundamentals, prompt engineering, text-based AI tools, NotebookLM, generative media studios, and visual creation through structured JSON prompt methods. These sessions helped participants understand how AI can support civil society work in communication, reporting, content production, learning, and data-related tasks.
The final part of the training focused on data visualization. Participants learned how to transform raw data into understandable visuals, choose appropriate chart types, and use visual evidence to support advocacy, reporting, decision-making, and public communication. The programme ended with a review of project outputs, learning outcomes, and practical reflections from participants.
