SECURE-CS Toolkit Dissemination Report Published

As part of the SECURE-CS project, ANKA Gelecek ve Yenilik Derneği prepared the SECURE-CS Toolkit Dissemination Report, a visual and data-based outreach analysis developed to document the promotion of the project’s security toolkit.

The report focuses on the dissemination list created for the Secure-CS toolkit and presents a structured overview of the audiences contacted during the outreach process. In total, 204 unique e-mail recipients were included in the analysis, consisting of 38 institutional addresses, 166 individual recipients, and 40 different domains. These figures show that the dissemination activity reached a diverse audience across personal, academic, NGO, and corporate communication channels.

The purpose of the report is to make dissemination activity more transparent, measurable, and easier to communicate. Instead of presenting the outreach process only as a mailing list, the report transforms the data into a clear visual structure that shows who was reached, which types of recipients were included, and how the communication network was distributed.

A central part of the report is the recipient composition analysis. This section compares institutional and individual recipients within the total outreach list and helps identify the balance between direct individual communication and organization-based dissemination. The report also includes a breakdown of individual e-mail providers, giving a clearer view of how the target audience was reached through commonly used communication services.

The report also examines domain extensions and institutional segments. Academic addresses, NGO-related domains, corporate domains, and other institutional categories are classified separately, allowing the project team to better understand the outreach profile. This is especially important for SECURE-CS, as the project aims to reach not only technical stakeholders, but also civil society actors, young people, educators, associations, foundations, and organizations that may benefit from practical digital security resources.

Another important feature of the report is the full recipient directory. The HTML-based structure includes search and filter options that make it possible to review the dissemination list by category, including institutional, academic, NGO, and individual recipients. This supports internal traceability and strengthens the documentation quality of the dissemination process.

The SECURE-CS Toolkit Dissemination Report contributes to the project’s wider visibility and sustainability objectives. By documenting outreach through a clear, dynamic, and data-driven format, the report helps demonstrate how the project results were shared with relevant audiences and how the toolkit was positioned as a practical resource for safer digital practices.

The report also supports future communication planning. The recipient segmentation, provider analysis, and domain-based structure can help the project team identify which audiences were reached effectively and where additional dissemination efforts may be needed. In this way, the report functions not only as a record of past outreach, but also as a practical reference for future visibility and stakeholder engagement activities.

Through this dissemination work, SECURE-CS continues to strengthen awareness around information security, data protection, and digital resilience in civil society.
