SECURE-CS TPM-1 Meeting Successfully Held at SETA Istanbul
The first Transnational Project Meeting of the SECURE-CS project, “Civil Society Initiatives Strengthened with Information and Data Security,” was successfully held at SETA Istanbul on 24 March 2025.
As the opening coordination meeting of the project, TPM-1 brought project partners together to establish a shared understanding of the project’s objectives, implementation logic, expected outputs, and working methods. The meeting created an important foundation for the partnership by clarifying how the project would move from planning to practical implementation.
During the meeting, partners reviewed the overall structure of the SECURE-CS project and discussed the main work areas, including digital security awareness, capacity building for civil society organizations, training activities, platform development, dissemination, and project management. The session also provided space to align the partnership around responsibilities, deadlines, communication procedures, and quality expectations.
A key focus of TPM-1 was the role of the SECURE-CS project in strengthening civil society organizations against digital risks. Partners discussed the increasing importance of information and data security for NGOs, associations, youth organizations, and other civil society actors. In this context, the project’s practical outputs were reviewed as tools that would help organizations better understand, assess, and improve their digital security practices.

The meeting also supported the development of a common implementation roadmap.
